Simplicity ZT3000

Review

The Simplicity ZT3000 Zero Turn Mower is not as powerful as the Simplicity ZT2000 or Simplicity Champion mowers, but it is still a quality piece of machinery that will quickly take over most lawns. There is a choice of mower decks on this mower. One option is a deck with a 46-inch width of cut, while there is also a deck with a 50-inch width of cut. Both options have 3 blades housed within the mower deck. These mower decks can be adjusted in 0. 5-inch increments from a low of 1. 5 inches above the ground to 4. 5 inches above the ground. Unlike many of other Simplicity models this is done manually.

The mower decks on the Simplicity ZT3000 use Simplicity Free Floating Technology which allows the deck to move and thus follow the contours of the ground it is traveling over giving a much smoother and more even cut. Wheels are located at the front of the mower deck to prevent the mower from getting caught in the grass and scratching it. It also has rollers at the rear of the mower deck.

The mower deck on the Simplicity ZT3000 zero-turn mower is powered by a Briggs & Stratton Extended Life Series engine that provides 24 horsepower. This engine is keystarted by a 12 volt battery which gives the engine 340 cold cranking amps. The engine transfers power to the wheels through a Hydro-Gear ZT 2800 dual hydrostatic transmission that allows the operator to control each rear wheel independently of the other. This transmission system gives the ZT 3000 a top speed of 11. 3 km/h. The engine takes fuel from a tank with a capacity of 24. 6 liters. This zero turn mower comes with a 2-year limited warranty to people who buy it for residential use only, while people who buy it for commercial use will get a 90-day warranty on the machine and a 1-year warranty on theengine.
