Toro Z Master Z380

Review

The Toro Z Master Z380 zero-turn mower is one of the smaller machines in Toro’s Z Master series. If you’re looking for something a little bigger, you might be interested in the Toro Z Master Z480 or Toro Z Master Z420 zero-turn mowers. The engine that powers the Z 380 is very small, producing only 14 horsepower. This engine is a Briggs and Stratton that uses a Dura-Lube lubrication system. The engine is started with a 12 volt battery. Power from the engine is delivered to the wheels via a dual EZT hydrostatic setup that allows the operator to control both the speed and direction of the rear wheels via the turn bars located in front of him.

The Toro Z Master Z380’s rear wheels through which power is transferred have turf threads and measure 18×6. 5 (18-inch diameter, 6. 5-inch wide). They are much larger than the front wheels, bearing most of the Z 380’s weight. The front wheels are 10×4 (10-inch diameter, 4-inch wide). The engine also powers the Z380’s cutting deck. The deck has a 38 width of cut, but due to the rubber discharge flap attached to the side of the deck, its overall width is actually 10 inches more than this.

For the treatment of the cuttings, you can buy a bagger to collect them, a ‘Recycler’ kit to shred them or simply unload them from the side of the roof. The Toro Z Master Z380 comes with a full 2-year warranty for people who buy it new. This gives you an idea of the faith that Toro has in its products. The mower’s fuel tank can hold up to 7. 6 litres.
