The John Deere 8630 tractor is a larger and more powerful model than its little brother, the John Deere 8430. This tractor is specifically designed to pull very large loads. The engine that powers it is a 6-cylinder diesel built by JD. The engine has a liquid cooling system that requires 41. 6 liters of water to fill completely. The JD 8630 engine uses a dry type air filter to prevent dust and particles from entering the engine through the air intake. The engine runs with a compression ratio of 15. 4 to 1.
