John Deere 5055D

Review

The John Deere 5055D utractor tractor is very similar to the John Deere 5055E for several reasons. Both use the same engine and have a relatively similar appearance. However, they are completely separate and different machines. The 5055D JD is propelled by a powertech engine produced by 55 hp. This power is directed to the wheels thanks to a Syncreverser transmission that provides the utilitarian tractor 8 gears forward and 4 gears for back. This transmission configuration provides the tractor for a very respectable maximum speed of 29 km/h. The engine is launched using a 12 volt battery.

The John Deere 5055D comes with a series of serial safety features that make it very easy to own and operate. Obviously it comes with an antivuelco bar (Rops) as standard. It is a 2-post folding ROPS that facilitates its storage in low ceiling sheds. There are also halogen lights mounted so that I can see both in front and behind the tractor when it is dark outside. You will notice that the seat is also very comfortable and comes with a seat belt. You will also observe that all the controls of the JD 5055D are located within the reach of the operator so that it never has to stretch to adjust them.

The 5D 3-point hitch, category 2, at the back of the John Deere 5055D utility tractor can accommodate a wide variety of different accessories. This hitch has a maximum lifting capacity of 1282 kg (2828 lbs). If by chance you have a 5055D JD, please try to leave a comment about it below. Be sure to include as many details as you can. This includes things like the year of manufacture, any modification that has done and what accessories use with it.
