Husqvarna EZ6124

Review

The Husqvarna EZ6124 Zero-Turn Mower is powered by a Kohler Courage engine. This engine is a two-cylinder model. The engine uses a standard type air filter to clean the air intake and prevent dust and other particles from entering the combustion chambers. The engine gets its fuel from a tank that can hold up to 20. 1 litres. This large fuel capacity coupled with the large 61-inch-wide mower deck indicates that the EZ Mower is a primarily commercial machine.

The 61-inch mower deck on the Husqvarna EZ6124 houses 3 blades, each of which is 20. 5-inches wide. These blades are much more efficient than if the deck had a single large 61-inch blade. The 3 blades are housed within an 11 gauge fabricated steel deck. This deck is belt driven. This platform is belt driven. To prevent the front of the deck from accidentally hitting the ground in front of it and possibly leaving ugly scars, there are 2 small anti-scaling plastic wheels attached to it. The deck can cut grass up to 2. 5 cm above the ground. It can also be raised up to 3 inches to a height of 4. 5 inches above the ground if you’re cutting particularly thick or long grass.

The top speed of the Husqvarna EZ6124 is an impressive 11. 3 km/h forwards, while in reverse it can reach 6. 4 km/h. The rear wheels that drive the EZ6124 mower are powered by a ZT 2800 dual hydrostatic transmission. This allows the operator to effectively control each rear wheel independently of the other. Each rear wheel measures 20×9. 5-8 (20-inch diameter, 9. 5-inch width, 8-inch rim diameter). They are large enough to provide plenty of grip without tearing up wet grass. Similar models to the EZ 6124 are the Husqvarna LZF6127 and the Husqvarna BZ6127.
