John Deere LA110

Review

The John Deere LA110 is part of the 100 series that was only built for one year, in 2007. It was built at JD’s Horicon, Wisconsin, facility. If you’re looking for a similar model that’s slightly less powerful, then take a look at the John Deere LA100. However, if you’re looking for something more powerful, check out the John Deere LA120 lawn mower. The JD LA110 is powered by a 19. 5hp 1-cylinder gasoline engine designed and manufactured by Briggs and Stratton. This engine is 30 cu in (0. 5 l) in size and uses paper and foam elements to filter the intake air before it enters the combustion chamber. The engine starts with a 12 volt battery. This battery is charged by a 9 amp alternator. The engine needs up to 1. 4 liters of oil to stay properly lubricated.

Power from the engine is transferred to the wheels via a hydrostatic transmission giving you an unlimited number of gears in both forward and reverse. The center-mounted mower deck that comes standard on the John Deere LA110 has a 1. 06 m (42 in) cutting width. The mower deck must be manually adjusted from 1 inch off the ground to 4 inches off the ground.

The total weight of the machine is 204 kg, reasonably light for a ride-on mower. It has a 1. 24 m (49 in) wheelbase and a width of 1. 31 m (52 in), making it incredibly stable on the ground, allowing the John Deere LA110 to easily tackle hills and inclines. Without accessories, the length of the JD LA110 is 1. 74 m (69 inches). Unfortunately John Deere no longer make this model, however it is a highly recommended second hand mower if you can get your hands on one.
