Unfortunately it is not compatible with any other JD mowers.
The John Deere 52″ Rotary Broom is a fantastic piece of all-season equipment. It uses John Deere’s patented Quik-Tatch technology so it can be very quickly and easily attached to one of the John Deere X700 series mowers by more or less driving on it. However to increase your performance, you should definitely consider using some rear ballast to increase traction and grip from the wheels. You can easily attach JD’s Quik-Tatch weight plates that individually weigh 19. 1 kilograms (42 pounds) for this very purpose.
The nice thing about the John Deere 52-inch rotary boom is that during the winter it can obviously be used to clear snow from the shallow depth of your driveway, but it’s just as useful during the rest of the year, from brushing off leaves that have fallen duringfall up to simply brush off any debris. Overall, this is a very versatile piece of equipment that may not necessarily be very strong on a particular job, but is still valuable whenever you need something swept.
