John Deere 4000

Review

The tractor John Deere 4000 is not part of the new series of JD 4000 tractors. The JD 4000 is part of a line of the end of the sixties and early seventies that also includes the John Deere 4020 and John Deere 4320 tractors. I bought the new JD 4000, you could choose between 2 different engines. The first is a flui d-cooled gasoline engine and 6 cylinders. The engine works with a compression ratio of 7. 5: 1 and is natural aspiration. It has a total displacement of 5. 9 liters. The other motor option is a diesel model also refrigerated by liquid. This engine has a compression ratio of 16. 5: 1 and is also natural aspiration. This engine has a total displacement of 6. 6 liters. Both engines have been designed and manufactured by JD. The maximum power of either of the two engines is 96. 9 hp.

The John Deere 4000 tractor comes with a selection of 2 different gearboxes. The first transmission configuration is a total power change John Deere that gives it 8 speeds forward and 4 for reverse. The other transmission option is a partially synchronized synchro-rengeal gearbox of John Deere that provides 6 speeds forward and 2 for reverse. The Synchro-ngege gearbox provides JD 4000 for a maximum speed of 27 km/h forward and 9. 5 km/h back. The gearbox transfers the power to the rear wheels, each of which measures 16. 9-34 (16. 9 inches wide, 34 inches in tire diameter).

The front wheels of the John Deere 4000, responsible for the direction, are smaller and measure 9. 5-15 (9. 5 inches of width and 15 inches of tire diameter). The total weight of the JD 4000 can reach 4930 kg (10, 870 pounds) when it is fully weighted, but without ballast, its normal operating weight is 3903 kg (8605 pounds). There are a number of implements compatible with this tractor. Among them include plows, trailers and front loaders such as the John Deere 148 and the John Deere 158.
