The John Deere 1050 compact utractor tractor is the largest in the series that also includes the John Deere 850 tractors, John Deere 650 and John Deere 750. The JD 1050 is available with 4×4 MFWD 4WD or 4×2 2WD chassis, depending on their needs. Whether choosing a 4×4 and 4×2 model, both come with the same engine. It is a 3-cylinder Yanmar model that has a total displacement of 1. 7 liters. The engine is turbocharged and has a double paper air filter to filter the dust and other air inlet particles before entering the engine. A 6. 2-liter liquid cooling system prevents the Yanmar engine from overhabing.
The fuel tank supplying diesel at John Deere 1050 can contain up to 41. 6 liters (11 American gallons). The engine feeds the hydraulic system that, in turn, feeds many of the accessories. Among them are the front loaders JD 75 and JD 80, as well as the rear hitch (category 1). The engine operates the wheels through a transmission that provides 8 speeds in advance and 2 in reverse. The maximum speed of JD 1050 is 20. 1 km/h.
The John Deere 1050 compact tractor does not include standard cabin. Instead, it has an antivuelco protection system (ROPS) of 2 posts, so if you plan to use it in areas with adverse weather conditions, you can consider another machine that has a cabin or perhaps build your own. One Review of the John Deere 1050
Mine has some problems. The wholesale sale price for the worst condition according to the Bluebook tractor is a little more than $ 5000. I bought mine for $ 3500, so I knew there would be some problems. It works, however and it is safe and that is as good a start as I can wait for. I certainly have much more tractor for my money than the John Deere 790 MFWD 2005 that used to have for more than 4 times more. Mine has an assisted steering kit that does not work, the hydraulic system seems a bit out of control, since I do not have the exact positioning capacity that it should have with the 3-point hook. The TDF does not stop when the clutch floor to the bottom and the coupling of the TDF is difficult. However, the tractor changes march and works well and the concessionaire ensured that it had a seat belt and that all lights would also work.
